Hey Space Fans!

It's hard to believe it's February already, but 2019 is off to a great start and this month brings some exciting events in space. First, for launches, SpaceX is hoping to fly its first Crew Dragon test flight, an uncrewed launch for NASA, to showcase the company's new spaceship for astronauts. Another SpaceX rocket is due to launch Beresheet, Israel's first moon lander, sometime this month.

For all early-birds, the night sky has Valentine treats this month. Don't miss Venus and Jupiter shining with the moon before dawn. And look up on Feb. 19 to see the full moon, a Super Snow Moon, as the moon will be near perigee (it's closest approach to Earth) for the month!

Keep looking up!
