Hey, Space Fans!

March is here and it's bringing some amazing space missions and night sky sights to behold, and we're excited to bring them straight to you over the next few weeks.

SpaceX kicks things off March 2 with the first Crew Dragon launch in a historic test flight for NASA. Liftoff is at 2:49 a.m. EST (0749 GMT) and I'll be at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida with Senior Space Writer Mike Wall to bring it to you live. The Demo-1 mission is uncrewed (but has a dummy passenger Ripley) and arrives at the ISS March 3, then returns to Earth March 8. So, tune in!

Scientists from around the world flock to The Woodlands, Texas this month for the annual Lunar and Planetary Science Conference, where they'll announce the latest discoveries on other planets. Our Senior Writer Meghan Bartels will be there to bring you the news.

And mark your calendars for March 21, when the seasons will change and the moon is full! March's full moon will be the Super Worm Moon and comes at the equinox, as we change from winter to spring in Northern Hemisphere and summer to fall in the Southern Hemisphere. Here's a look at the month's night sky!

So, come join us on this epic trip and keep looking up!

Sincerely,

Tariq Malik
